Matt Leary, President, Founder, and Senior PCB Designer
Matt is the founder and President of Newgrange Design. Started as a one person operation right out of college, this organization has grown to 19 employees and successfully serves US companies that need support developing their electronic hardware. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1996 with a BA in Physics, after spending his first 2 years of college at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.
Myev Bodenhofer, Electrical Engineering Manager
Myev has over 20 years of design and test experience in medical devices and in the avionics industry. She heads up our engineering services group, leads product development teams, performs signal integrity analysis, and consults on complex PCB Designs. Her particular areas of expertise include: system architecture design, low-level analog design, design of test equipment, EMC and environmental testing and FMEA and risk analysis. She holds both a Masters in Electrical Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Physics from MIT. Myev has worked in Class III medical device development, and is experienced in working under ISO 13485 and the ISO 9000 family of standards.
Jean Pulpi, Business Operations Manager
Jean has over 20 years Project and Team Management experience, with 10+ years of providing consulting services in the high-tech industry. She leads a team that manages our overall business processes and operations, as well as oversees all customer accounts and project schedules. Her overall expertise includes IT infrastructure project management, process improvement, vendor management and business analysis & development. She is a University of Massachusetts graduate with a degree in Business Management.
Kristen Aguiar, PCB Design Manager
Kristen has worked at Newgrange Design for over 10 years. She manages a group of five PCB Designers and continues to design boards as well. Her team works primarily in Altium and PADs. She is experienced designing RF, analog, digital, high voltage, high current, and power electronics using all technologies. She also manages the training program for all new PCB designers after creating a brand new training curriculum. She has experience with DFM/DFA/DFT standards. She graduated from Northeastern University, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Mathematics.
Lauren Waslick, PCB Design Manager
Lauren has worked at Newgrange Design in the PCB Design group for over 5 years. She manages a group of five PCB designers and continues to design boards as well. Her team works primarily in Allegro and Altium. She is experienced designing RF, analog, digital, high voltage, high current, and power electronics using all technologies and is our internal Flex PCB Design specialist. She graduated from Boston University, Cum Laude, with a BA in Mathematics and minors in Economics and Psychology. She is also currently pursuing her MBA at Babson College.
Doug Field, PCB Design Manager
Doug has worked at Newgrange Design for over seven years. He has a team of four designers that primarily work in Altium but he also has experience with PADs layout. He is experienced in RF, analog, high speed digital including DDR3, DDR4, QDR, high voltage/current, multi-board layout and DFM/DFA/DFT standards for consumer electronics. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts: Amherst, Cum Laude, with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.
